NGO My Fund Action Perak visit Bercham centre
Our PMA CHAN MENG KHOR – MAA Medicare Charity Dialysis Centre in Bercham, recently had the pleasure of being visited by NGO My Fund Action Perak.
The NGO together with our staff, discussed ideas on how the former could assist with food supplies and wound care amongst others, for underprivileged patients.
Good news – the identified patients will receive home visits from the NGO, who will provide the required assistance.
The NGO representatives later spent some time mingling with our dialysis patients, getting to know them.

Deepavali 2020
Our Seberang Perai Centre staff celebrated the Festival of Lights with our patients by handing out hampers with the traditional Indian snack, “murukku”.

Transportation Service
Our Teluk Intan Centre has introduced an all new transport service for our deserving patients under the MAA Medicare Charitable Foundation’s Patient Welfare Fund (PWF). This service is aimed at facilitating transportation for patients to the centre from their respective homes for dialysis, 3 times a week, as dialysis is essential for them to lead normal lifestyles. After their dialysis, patients are sent home safe and sound.

This transport service will specifically cater for the underprivileged, wheelchair-bound, and patients with no mode of transport for their sessions at our centre.

While the van is able to accommodate up to 11 passengers excluding the driver, however, due to Covid-19, the van will only lift 4 passengers, in compliance with the social distancing SOP.

Putting a smile on our patients’ faces and easing their struggles, is what makes a difference.

Machine Donations
More machine donations poured in from PELITAWANIS TNB for Kota Bharu, and Mr. Lawrence Hii & the Landstate Team for the Kuching Dialysis Centre. Their generous donation empowered the Foundation’s teams to elevate their care for patients to new heights.
